Wow, that's an incredible price! We love our robot vacuum. The tab that locks the dustbin in place broke on ours awhile back, and because the dustbin was backordered, they just replaced the entire vacuum. 😳 Vacuum sometimes has weird pathfinding around obstacles. The map sometimes gets messed up, but we resolve it by just picking the unit up and putting it back on the charger, and it corrects itself. 99% of the time, we send it out to vacuum, forget about it completely, and come back to clean floors! We have mostly wood floors, but previously had carpet, and it's done great on both, in our experience.

Just felt like posting because we really like ours, so call me a Robot Vacuum evangelist, I guess. lol

I wouldn't touch this. I wanted to buy this around Black Friday but stumbled upon this thread.

https://forums.wyzecam.com/t/robo.../183918/19

It's an ongoing issue that wyze won't address.

Another day of daily vacuuming and its still going strong. No marks and stays in the boundaries. Will continue to torture test this on my tiles and wood floors

FWIW, Wyze simply takes cheap Chinese products (found on aliexpress, etc) and slaps their name on them. Cameras, vacuums, sprinklers, lights, door lock, smart this, smart that...they simply brand and re-sell currently available "smart" items. The strategy obviously works since 99% of people would never pay that close attention, but when things go wrong, they are really at the mercy of the generic factory that makes generic things like this vacuum. They don't have ownership over the engineering and development process, so they can't just "fix the wheels." Unless the OEM company cares, or Wyze begins designing, engineering, and building these devices, you are basically SOL.

That said, I'm not necessarily opposed to this since we love our cheap stuff, but I'm on the fence about buying this vacuum. LIDAR and the price are certainly attractive, but ruining my floors? That's a no-go.

Edit: if you use the code WOWFRESH it will work. Be sure to remove the extra space after pasting (after the H). Simply pasting won't work since there is a space after the H.
What is that code for?

Just a suggestion or two. Read the thread or at least search the thread for WOWFRESH to get the context.

So you save a couple hours a year vacuuming and spend more time than saved, plus costs, to repair the damage this robot caused to your flooring? What a (oil/rubber) slick deal in this case.

Does anyone know if I can use this in Asia where they use 220v instead of 110v?

Reports says that if it gets stuck somewhere, it uses full power to try to unstuck itself. So it might leave marks were it was stuck at. I'm using it on hard wood floors only so I don't think I'll get stuck anywhere.
Thank you so much, mine is hardwood as well and I ensure there are no obstacles even so should work Ok for me I think.

Thanks for sharing this deal !
I got mine yesterday and I'm amazed by how smart & capable it is!
Great Wyze app makes it easy to see what it did & is doing.

A couple of MINOR nitpicks:
1. It occasionally leaves small clusters of lint -- maybe dust bin too full -- easily sucked up with my cordless hand vac.
2. It tries to climb anything that's less than 0.8 inches high -- which is great for going over the floor to carpet boundary, etc -- but not so great for it when dealing with a couple of my chairs. Fixed by setting "No-Go Zones".
3. It has a bit of trouble with some rugs... like all vacuums.
4. You have to kind of "baby proof" your house & remove anything off the floor that might get sucked up, run over, or knocked over.

Just bought this. Got it yesterday with 2 day shipping. Ran it once. It's pretty impressive. Didn't proof the house to see what it could do. It handles changes in surfaces better than my old neato by a mile. It'll even go over thicker cords but not thin ones (like a phone charger). It actually crawled over the 1/2 inch lip of the bed frame and vacuumed under the bed. It got stuck trying to get out the other side, though. I'm fairly impressed so far.

I think I'd pay a few dollars more for the Roomba that has the spot cleaning ability. Much more important than LIDAR mapping.
This has spot cleaning
