Wow, that's an incredible price! We love our robot vacuum. The tab that locks the dustbin in place broke on ours awhile back, and because the dustbin was backordered, they just replaced the entire vacuum. 😳 Vacuum sometimes has weird pathfinding around obstacles. The map sometimes gets messed up, but we resolve it by just picking the unit up and putting it back on the charger, and it corrects itself. 99% of the time, we send it out to vacuum, forget about it completely, and come back to clean floors! We have mostly wood floors, but previously had carpet, and it's done great on both, in our experience.

Just felt like posting because we really like ours, so call me a Robot Vacuum evangelist, I guess. lol

I wouldn't touch this. I wanted to buy this around Black Friday but stumbled upon this thread.

https://forums.wyzecam.com/t/robo.../183918/19

It's an ongoing issue that wyze won't address.

I'm also very impressed for the price. It's on par with the much more expensive Eufy laser vacuums. The mapping and lidar is excellent and I've noticed it gets stuck in fewer places than some other vacuums I tested. The auto room mapping and no-go zones and really the best features. So far no complaints and I'd highly recommend it.

Check out my screenshots. This is what I see on my Wyze app. I'm on android with latest official app. To the right you'll see 3 icons. The 1st one is for multi-floor mapping. There you can add another floor. I don't know if the iOS app has this.

This arrived a few days ago and I'm actually very pleased with it so far, but I was wondering if anybody had any experience with "ihome autovac nova" in the other thread from Walmart. The mopping seems useless from some comments, but an auto empty bin would be very useful.

I didn't read the messages from others but can say that I have had this for a year and thoroughly pleased with it. Cleans very well. It has minor quirks but I can live with that.

Don't fall for this. I ordered and Walmart cancelled my order and have not returned my money. Please be careful.

I was unable to do the no go zones. The app requires a zone to be of a minimum size and apparently my laundry room doesn't meet that size. So for smaller spaces, I haven't found a way to make it work.

Weird, I've had no trouble. You can do a no-go zone that's larger than your laundry room if that works. You could also put a no-go zone before that room to keep the vacuum from getting there.

Interesting, I think I may have figured out my issue. I was trying to split the room to exclude the hallway leading to the laundry and the split function was complaining. It looks like the no go zone doesn't rely on the room definitions so Im able to get it to work the other way. Thanks!

I believe someone mentioned earlier the code only works for store pickup.

I think I had this issue with the bathroom initially but was able to split the hallway/bathroom into 2 areas (vs using a no-go zone). Seems like it should be possible somehow.

For anyone still on the fence, go for it. One of the best gadgets I've ever purchased, game changer for anyone dealing with constant pet hair/cat litter all over the place.

I have a German Shepard. It does a pretty good, however I always find hair in clumps that appear to be pushed together by the sweeper arm but not sucked up. I'll grab a pic next time.

On a side note, I also ordered the shark iq with auto empty from Amazon the other day for $300. Will compare the two to see which one works better.
