Wow, that's an incredible price! We love our robot vacuum. The tab that locks the dustbin in place broke on ours awhile back, and because the dustbin was backordered, they just replaced the entire vacuum. 😳 Vacuum sometimes has weird pathfinding around obstacles. The map sometimes gets messed up, but we resolve it by just picking the unit up and putting it back on the charger, and it corrects itself. 99% of the time, we send it out to vacuum, forget about it completely, and come back to clean floors! We have mostly wood floors, but previously had carpet, and it's done great on both, in our experience.

Just felt like posting because we really like ours, so call me a Robot Vacuum evangelist, I guess. lol

I wouldn't touch this. I wanted to buy this around Black Friday but stumbled upon this thread.

https://forums.wyzecam.com/t/robo.../183918/19

It's an ongoing issue that wyze won't address.

Check out my screenshots. This is what I see on my Wyze app. I'm on android with latest official app. To the right you'll see 3 icons. The 1st one is for multi-floor mapping. There you can add another floor. I don't know if the iOS app has this.

Thank you. Repped. Unfortunately I don't see this in my IPhone as well as my Android phone. Looks like it has not been rolled out to every vacuum yet.

Do they make a self-emptying base for this? If not, what is the next best unit with LiDAR and self emptying capabilities?

They do not currently make a self-emptying base for the Wyze Robot Vacuum.

I am a big fan of the ihome AutoVac Nova. It's currently about $200 at Walmart and has

- self-emptying base
- mop attachment
- LiDAR

I prefer the additional map and boundary customization offered through the iHome clean app as well.

I second the autovac nova, finally got mine going and have had 5 days of flawless cleaning. App works good, good customization of zones. I'll be buying another for my second floor in a week or two.

This thing is great! Upgraded from a bounce around and this is world's better with the floor mapping. It's Alexa skills are lacking as you can just ask Alexa to clean. It has to open the wyze skill then you say the command but the app is good. Does a good job cleaning and the room mapping works great. Does a room at a time instead of just wandering around. Should clean much better because of this. Great deal!

Question: Is the ihome AutoVac Nova better than iHome AutoVac Eclipse Pro 3-in-1 Robot Vacuum? Would really appreciate some guidance since we need one ASAP. TIA

Unfortunately for me, I may never get my order(s). I ordered on 6/13 and a few days later got an email it would be delivered the next day. The next day I received another email saying the order has been delayed. When I click through the USPS tracking it says USPS Currently Awaiting Package.

Since it was "stuck" I placed another order on 6/17 figuring I would just return the first one if it ever showed up. The exact same thing happened to the second order. I got an email it would be delivered the next day. The next day I received another email saying the order has been delayed. When I click through the USPS tracking on this one it says Insufficient Address.

I've ordered so many things from Walmart without issue. Of course, their CS is no help saying I need to wait 2-3 more days for it to be delivered.

The autovac nova has better mapping and navigation because it has a LiDAR sensor and stronger suction

the box says "multi-floor mapping capabilities", but i don't see it in the app. I'm suing an iphone: wyze app version 2.32.0 (20), firmware version 1.6.113, plugin version 2.32.9. I also signed up for beta testing...

I have the Tomtoc T3 which looks identical and has the same OEM as this Wyze from what I can tell. Mine loses sense of where it is every now and then and has to be remap the entire house even though we have strong wifi everywhere.

Hopefully different firmware and a US support team makes this better though the Wyze forums complaints do not give me much confidence

Anybody upgrade to these from the cheaper "bounce around" Eufy vacuums? I have two of the Eufy ones but they often get stuck and make a ton of noise trying to correct itself. Thanks in advance !
I upgraded from a bounce around Roomba. Night and day difference. Truly vacuums with a purpose. It breaks it up into virtual rooms and obeys those virtual walls. It actually vacuums in lines as if you are mowing. It's a game changer. I'm sure Roomba or others brands would say they do it better. But the virtual mapping upgrade from a bounce around is truly worth it.

I received the second one I ordered late yesterday (the first order is still lost in shipping). I sent it on its maiden voyage today and it worked great. If the other one shows up I may actually opt to keep it for the upstairs. It did get caught on a power cable under a shelf unit I have in my office so I'll wrap that up better for next time. It stopped at the step to my family room as expected. So far this thing is great.

I have to say, I'm disappointed with this vacuum, particularly with all the good reviews. Maybe YMMV.

Mine keeps getting stuck on things every 2-3 mins. Sometimes I would hit run from the app and it would free itself, other times I have to manually free it. Considering I have to administer it every 2-3 mins, it kind of defeats the purpose of the vacuum.

To be more specific about this vacuum, i can rattle off all the places it gets stuck and you can determine if you might run into the same issues.

I have this vacuum upstairs and it doesn't know what to do when it gets to the edge of my staircase. I have horizontal rails and top part of the vacuum will lift itself and then get stuck. On one occasion, it went off the edge. Thankfully it was just one wheel and the whole thing didn't fall from the 2nd floor.

It also gets stuck under my couch. The gap under my couch is too low, but it tries to get in there anyway and gets itself stuck.

I don't think I have a particularly difficult obstacle of a home for it either. I had a Neato D7 that rarely got stuck. The problem with the Neato is their app is absolute garbage and I had issues with it disconnecting from my wifi. I was hoping this would replace it.

My last gripe is that the container is quite small. It got stuck a ton of times, barely vacuumed, yet was full to the point it was ejecting dust all over the ground. It seems it didn't have a sensor to stop it when it was full.

That last issue is why I'm probably returning it. I was thinking of moving it downstairs where it might encounter less "difficult" obstacles, but the whole overflow issue was quite annoying to clean up after.
