Copy and Paste from previous staff deal that is active again, probably matching Costco Tech Deals this week.

$599-699 is the cheapest computer they sell.
If anything I would buy now before they sellout and people actually charge more…….

Apple.com may not (actually they do, with the un-updated 7th gen i5 old design Macbook Air previously; the iphone XR's price was lowered by $100 all over the world just a few months after release - but that was more of apple fault for overpricing it in the first place), but third party (Bestbuy, etc...) lower prices all the time (likely with Apple agreements). This computer last year at some point had a sale for $550 (with coupon maybe).
M1 is the first gen chip with kinks (bluetooths, multi-monitors etc...i'm using this exact computer). I would pay a bit more to get the M2 if you can wait a bit.
If anything on slickdeals we supposedly never pay website MSRP.
So far not really living up to my expectations. I wanna think it's cause some software are still trying to work with the M1. For example, I would only have Safari open with 4 tabs and Spotify playing music. Even while navigating Safari, Spotify would constantly skip or freeze the music. After restarting it would be better then eventually lag again.
