Buyer beware on this device.........I bought it on sale at Best Buy the end of last year for $300. Everything seemed great with the phone. Lots of memory, fast, long battery life, great camera. Shortly after getting it my wife complained that most everytime I talked to her on it there was an echo on her end. So bad she said it was hard to talk. Then others started saying it had an echo on there end. Not everyone but quite a few. It only happens on the handset use. Using speakerphone or bluetooth it does not do it at all. So I started doing some research and it is a common issue with this device apparently. Many people in forums complain of the same thing. They had reached out for service from Motorola but it kept falling on deaf ears. The typical restart your phone, reset your phone, new sim, or upgrade Android version replys from Motorola. I just decided to chalk it up as a loss and bought a new phone. Do some research before you pull the trigger on this one. You might have great luck or you might be out $250 on this. If it weren't for the echo problem, it would be a great low cost 5G phone. I replaced it with a Moto G Stylus 5G and the echo problems went away. Same sim card.

Long time Moto fan and this is my daily driver but I would probably look for another model or manufacturer. The ram/memory/battery are great and will get you through any day (plus fast charging extends battery quickly). It's an inexpensive phone with pretty good specs. But this phone has been stuck on Android 10 (with 11 or 12 coming eventually). Had to send the phone in twice after screen started glitching and it was finally replaced. Lastly, only specific sub models will work with WiFi calling (unlocked version won't work with AT&T). It's an okay grab on sale but I would probably look elsewhere.

Synthetic benchmarks show the Motorola to be better than the Nord and Samsung but the Motorola lacks some features such as Gorilla Glass, 90Hz screen, etc. But it does have HDR and a better camera

I got one for free with $60 plan from Cricket. It works fine on daily basis but didn't work well with Auto Android.

How's this compare with the likes of Nord N200 5G, Samsung A32 5G, etc?

It's a well rounded phone, but a little big and heavy for my liking.

Really? Recently had my A32 stolen, I loved that phone. Never gave me a single issue besides notification sound hiccups.

Besides ram, what makes this device better?

I think they only provision apple samsung and pixel phones, not sure about the other brands, you'd better check with them first, but xifinity basically uses Verizon towers, should work unless they dont provision moto phones.

Edit: i saw xfinity also sells this phone on their website.

Yeah, I have 7 devices laying around. One which no longer works with T-Mobile because it doesn't have VoLTE, even though it came out late 2020.

Was going to trade it for the Nord. Thinking I'll hang on to it until another device is offered.

I don't like using my 20 Ultra when I go out so, I like to have a reliable mid range device, which has expandable storage but not looking to spend anything. A32 was perfect in that regards.

For $250, I need to sleep on this.

In general...would they stop making these ridiculous >6" devices? Almost everybody I know on the Android side is tired of so many mid-tier phones like this and the stupid large screen sizes that make them heavy, not as pocketable, and difficult to hold in one hand. They also need the 5000mah batteries because the larger screens suck down power.
