Stuff is junk small and hard to assemble. If you are over 5'5 this is not the set for you.

so target is trying to get rid of it's over stock of things that don't sell well. informative thread over on reddit.

"For instance, he said, Target had a big sales event over Memorial Day weekend to clear bulky outdoor items like patio furniture out of its backrooms. It also got additional space near U.S. ports to hold merchandise, so it has a place to move goods — some of which are arriving too early or too late."

This has always been how Target operates, especially for outdoor and garden items. Introduce products right before the season starts, then clear them out mid-season to eliminate inventory, plus make room for the next season. Happens with apparel too, outdoor furniture is just bulkier and more obvious.

But this is shipped and sold by Costway. I don't think Target is in any way carrying this inventory.

This item isn't in Target stores, though. It is sold & shipped by Costway.

Weird to see a similar set for sale in a week... Saw a nicer & more complete set going for like $1000+ probably on a site that auctions off returned items.

Also, don't know if this could benefit the conversation, but target recently said this - https://www.reddit.com/r/news/com...americans/
