good price. But I still don't understand why they can't just integrate it directly with smart home devices

Aren't Hue devices just ZigBee? I have had my eye on some and haven't pulled the trigger but thought you could just add them to your smart home with the proper ZigBee controller.

My local experience is they are now worth only $20 on OfferUp. The market is flooded. I just wish that they'd come out with a bigger version that supports 200 lights and more animations all voice recognition integrated.

I have three I've tried selling for $15, but didn't know about OfferUp. Thank you.

I got 18 to 20 (before fees) on Facebook in April and May. So yeah that's probably 15.

They're not wifi devices. They can't connect to ur router. And for most people this is a good thing. Keeps traffic down on their router. This leads to faster router speeds and more stability.

They do use part of the 2.4GHz spectrum, so it's a good idea to move your router channel away from the overlap to maintain the performance of both devices.

Yup. Some devices use zigbee and some use bluetooth. Some might even be capable of both, but don't quote me on that.
