How soon are the 40 series laptops coming? I don't keep up with tech. Also, is Costco warranty pretty good? I hear they have a long warranty but I don't have a membership although my brother does. A good warranty (read: a long warranty) is probably most important to me. Ideally keeping the unit going for at least four/fiveish years.

This one looks good to me but I know little about the market right now. Would it catch fire if used with my HTC Vive?
