Just a word of advice with dehumidifiers- they do not last long. After having an old Kenmore unit that ran for 15 years, the last several do not even last 2 seasons. They are not well made and I believe most brands are made by the same manufacturer. I've tried Frigidaire, whirlpool, Hisense and they all fail before 2 years. Starts with freezing on the upper part of coil that gets worse until is stops working all together. This unit only has a 12 mos warranty. Costco offers a 2 year warranty. On my 3rd unit from Costco- simply return at customer service for full credit and buy a new one..

I had an old one that died a few years ago, and was lucky to find an old style one last year at an estate sale that I got for $10. Hopefully it will run as long as my last one did, which was in the basement of my house when I bought it over 10 years ago.

Exactly. Im lucky if one lasts a season. I just contacted Frigidaire about this one failing. I registered it on 18th in 2021, so had 5 days left to complain.
This is one type of product i'd recommend a extended warranty purchase for sure, either with something like Costco or credit card perk.

My last Costco unit, I think it was a Hisense, lasted about 10 days. I agree most of these things are made in the same factory out of junk. The Costco unit before this one lasted about 1.5 seasons before it started icing up.
