I concur, and I don't see a way to change the free gift, automatically adds the miter saw stand. Don't need this tool but curious if the sander/grinder also use the 12v battery that comes with the drill or are they bare 20v tools?

But otherwise I like that dewalt has been expanding the 12v line. I have a pretty decent set so far and glad to see it growing. I Can't wait for the ratchet deals to start coming.

I had the similar M12 version of this tool, never used it much and sold it. Seems to target a specific use case I don't have I guess.

Pulling it up by item number in the lowes app shows the ability to choose the free gift, and includes https://www.lowes.com/pd/DEWALT-1...1000045819 as an option (as well as a 20v battery showing OOS) which makes a little more sense. As I suspected, the other tools appear to be 20v bare tools (https://www.lowes.com/pd/DEWALT-4...er/3962539 and https://www.lowes.com/pd/DEWALT-X...1001864724)

Pulled the trigger, interested in trying 12V tool around the house instead of the regular 20V.
Surprised that very few nearby stores had it in stock, is this a new DW item or it is just not very popular?

Had the same problem, and it seems that it doesn't work with the shipping option. Find the nearest store that has this drill in stock and change your delivery method to picking-up at that particular store.

Someone is going to be disappointed when they get this 5in1 drill home and find out it doesn't attach to the free miter stand.

The current deal was the DS780 mitersaw and get the free stand. The mitersaw has been recalled by DeWalt so my guess is they switched the main tool to purchase.
