There are only 2 generations of the Fire TV Cube. This is the 2nd generation.

The description on Amazon says 2nd gen, but I found this for a comparison between the 1st and 3rd gen. Looks like 3rd gen is a stripped down model. https://hd-report.com/amazon-fire...omparison/

The main difference is the processor and the remote...

Never mind it looks like one of the sites linked to in this thread had the storage specifics wrong along with them mentioning a 3rd gen.

The specs look correct on this site... apparently there is a 3rd Gen 2021 release... with a new CPU and GPU... Not just the latest remote...

Nice, didnt know they had upgraded this finally. But will wait for Prime Day to upgrade, figure they will go on sale then.
