There is no "better" - OLED is a different technology than LED, almost all of which sold these days in tv use quantum dots (such as samsung's QLED brand name that's totally not designed to confuse people).

OLED pixels can turn off completely, giving true blacks, whereas LEDs have to rely on local dimming zones to get a proper contrast. But LED gets much brighter, which some people find important, especially if in a bright room. Generally, though, OLEDs are typically considered to be the way to go if you want the best picture quality without paying insane costs for micro led which probably is the best technology right now (not to be confused with mini led).

We're hitting a recession, these thing will hit a new all time low every week because nobody is buying.

Just like GPU prices are dropping every week.

If it's not food, gas, utilities, or housing, the prices are going down.

77 is 2499 in store at Costco, sale ends today then goes to 2599. I grabbed it when they had a 500 cash card

No cash card anymore, right? More than ok to wait longer. $2500 may be the bottom, but still hopeful.

Correct it came to 2099 with the cash card and you had to call them to get $200 off since the price decreased the week after.

I have seen refurbished ones under $2000.

Refurbs aren't around me, unfortunately. Missed out on Secondipity EBay refurb, took to long to pull trigger, would've been ~$1800.. Oh well..

Damn I bought this from Costco less than a month ago for 1599 but it has 5 year extended warranty... Wondering if I should return and get this, but question is if I can get the 5 year warranty on it would the price be equal

extended warranty is unnecessary imo

That warranty is useless unless it covers burn-in. Just plug the thing into a surge suppressor and it'll last 10 years easily (but the panel will still burn-in).
