I screwed up because the "deal" clock was just above the giveaway (and it was greyed out because I own Frostpunk) - making it look like it would be unlocked at noon. Oh well, sorry. Thanks OP.

I'm curious, for times when games are offered free but you don't need it because you already have it on another console (already have this on 3DS and PS4) or something, is it better (financially) for the developer for me to claim the free game? Or is it better if you don't?

I would say that claiming it is still a good thing. It increases their total installs / claims, which could be a metric used in some sort of ranking, though it likely does not matter.

I would claim it though if you like the game. PC games are more supportive of mods if you want to replay it in the future. It also gives you one more way to play the game if your console(s) break.

GOG is acting up. The generic giveaway/claim link [gog.com] is giving me junk, and the claim link on the home page isn't working for me. Might try another computer or the GOG Galaxy client.

Edit: It took a few tries but I finally got it.

Edit 2: Website says it has under 2 days left, deal editor's notes say "Offer valid through June 27, 2022 10PM UTC or while promotion last". Which is it?
