GL!
I originally sent in clear wrap due broken glass in front and back. Lots of black spots and crazy flashes time to time.
Samsung received it on 6/28. I received it today 7/5.
$50 was the cost. Also received a $20 ecoupon.
One issue is that the S pen was missing from phone so working with Samsung on that.
I left it in there so they could navigate around the broken screen.

Repair details (I had sent it only for a small spiderweb crack on the LCD on the left edge) -
Original Problem:
POWER - POWER - NO POWER AFTER UPGRADE (this seems to be a generic descriptor they are using since this is not correct. The phone was fully functional)
Problem found:
TOUCHPAD DAMAGE - TX AUDIO - MIC - DAMAGED IN REPAIR
Solution:
REPLACED LCD - REPLACED COSMETIC - REPLACED COMPONENT
Letter in package says -
Touchpad Damage - Non-Warranty, Replace Part
Fingerprint Sensor Failure - REPLACE PART DAMAGED IN PROCES
DAMAGED IN REPAIR - REPLACE PART DAMAGED IN PROCES
TX AUDIO - MIC - Non-Warranty, Replace Part
It seems that the third item above is actually the back glass because that has been changed as well although there was not even a scratch on it.
They also included a table of Part #s replaced -
GH96-11255A ASSY OLED
GH96-11938D ASSY US FP-SM
GH97-21246D MEA BACK GLASS-USA_ZB
GH98-43073A ASSY DECO-RCV_STAR2
Where is the part number for the MIC that was replaced?
Total cost - $54.11

With this refurbished not 9 from Samsung, I think I'm going to use it exclusively with my note 8 gear oculus VR goggles, as I discovered it fits it fine without any adapters unlike what my Google searches told me, and I prefer to Continue to use my note 8 as my everyday phone I realized during the time I waited for this note 9 to be repaired.
