Cal me alarmist but I read that and being in MN it gets pretty hot here. I bought one of these generators specifically to keep my AC running and maybe a fridge.

Assembled easily, runs great on propane. Waiting on the electrician to install the generator power transfer switch..

What was the quoted price on the transfer switch installation?

I know a little about generators but I don't know why this isn't getting more love. Should be front page in my opinion. An added plus is it is 240 V capable which I don't think most generators are in this range but I could be wrong. Didn't see the noise level listed and I'm sure people will find fault that it's not an inverter model but if I didn't already have a 4000 watt dual fuel Duromax I'd be jumping all over this.

I've been researching generators in this watt range for a little while and this is definitely an outstanding deal, especially for the features: 4750w, 240v, electric start, and dual-fuel capability. Other generators with these features usually start at about $550+.

It will be rather noisy (like a lawn mower) since it's not one of the covered "quiet" inverter models, which generally cost about twice as much. Also, WEN is a cheaper quality brand but I figured for the price it's a no-brainer.

This is a great deal. I bought one of these from Sams Club last year for $450. Except without electric start.

Uh, Natural gas is non liquid propane?
No, it isn't. That's like comparing gasoline and kerosene, they have some similar properties and come from the same source, you could say they are both petroleum fuels but they really aren't the same thing.

Propane has its own molecular structure, and is a natural gas.
The "Natural gas" one that we use in our homes is primarily methane, and even includes a small amount of propane.

This is a good deal for a dual fuel. While the same generator would have gone for about $270 in 2019, in today's market and supply chain a name brand generator under $400 with this wattage and dual fuel isn't a bad deal.

From a lot of what I'm hearing from word of mouth and reading online, it is going to be very hard to find generators after July. 😕

Well, I spose since Woots return policy is less than ideal.

I've been researching generators and there seems to be 4 things to look for: 240v to hook up to house, dual fuel, inverter for fuel savings and quiet, and finally electric start. This one doesn't have an inverter so essentially running 100% all the time so it's loud and uses more fuel

Sure thing Smartass. Either way both can be consumed by this genny, though you may need to adjust the pressure regulator and deal with lower power output.

Hell, I'll bet it will run on my Woodgas fuel generator.
Sure, you can also run your gasoline car on kerosene. Good luck with that. 🙄
