I also see that British Airways also has the 30% Bonus offer, and Marriott Bonvoy has 50% transfer bonus, FYI.

Virgin Atlantic appears to no longer have the bonus listed on the linked Chase page. There still is a British Airways and Bonvoy bonus.

Just started reading the fine print on the BA site and saw the following>>>

"At time of publication all British Airways reward flights are subject to taxes, fees and carrier charges of approximately $682-$1250 per person in economy and $1250 in business class based on travel from Seattle to London."

Are those fees pretty standard? I know it's an approximate and I didn't see a breakdown (and it's been a while since I've flown internationally), but that seems really high. Almost as bad as Ticketmaster and their fees and service charges.

This is still a nice bonus, so definitely thumbs up from me.

That seems pretty high to me too. I booked a flight from the US to Japan with around $200-300 tax and fees. Not sure if that is standard on Europe flights or not.

Flying to London via BA will result in high fuel charges, theres a few airlines and partners who pass on fuel surcharges and tax on some routes or airlines. Youd be be better off using them to look a flight west to an asia country like JAL or Cathay

British airways charges high fees if traveling from us to Uk. Might be less taxes if using points within Europe.
