I have a SJ8. I use it as a low-profile music speaker in my living room. The firmware is buggy as the music , either by wifi casting or bluetooth, might stop randomly. And many many times you need to manually reboot it.

It is just 5 years old and LG stopped firmware updating 3 years ago. Very bad experience.

Picked this up last November for $450. Works well for me. Sounded great on a rewatch of Top Gun on 4K disc a couple of weeks ago.

The passthrough is necessary, if not ideal, to avoid audio sync issues with XBox Series X.

Drops wifi connection in your entire house. Could not get it to connect to my wifi network through their app. Subwoofer sucks. Bass sounds dull not sharp. Returned it
