Capture One Pro 22, an alternative to Lightroom for photo editing, is normally $299 for a perpetual license, or $24/mo for a subscription that includes each year's latest version.
It's currently on sale for $209 (or $107 for one year)
direct from Capture One [captureone.com]. These prices are good through July 5.
Even better, the license is available via
B&H for only $179 through either a
digital code [bhphotovideo.com] >Expired or a
download card [bhphotovideo.com] >Expired they'll mail to you. (The digital code says no returns; the other doesn't.) These prices expire June 18.
You can also download a
30-day trial [captureone.com] of Capture One to try it out.
Note that the software is released every December, so we're halfway through the year where version 22 is the newest, but if you buy a license you can keep using that version indefinitely, unlike Lightroom that is only sold by subscription now (starting at $10/mo).
I've been using Lightroom v5 since 2013 and finally needed to upgrade to support a new camera. I've been testing Capture One for the last week and there are some tradeoffs, but I'm overall impressed with the speed of editing, and the quality of the output.
Note that this matches a
previous deal from April when Capture One offered 40% off.
