Sorry but why is it a crappy tv? Is there any other 4k 120hz tv at this price?
What makes it a crappy tv? Any reviews to back that up?
I'm sure you are trolling. I have this tv and it its great for the price. You do have to update the firmware day one. The picture was grainier than normal on YouTube until I updated it but the 4k content was gorgeous for an LED. To say it's crappy is very misleading. If you were expecting an oled or qled that cost much more thats on you.

I'm starting to look for a 4K replacement for an aging Samsung that only hits 1080p. We don't do a lot of detailed viewing. The TV will be in a room with 4 windows that don't get direct light but the room can be bright.

Thick, yes, but still lighter than high-end, thin TVs of this size like the C1, QN90A.
Thickness doesn't matter unless you're going to be putting it on a non-articulating super flat mount. I like to pull mine out 6 inches from the wall with LED lights behind it it looks awesome.

I am still waiting for my Nano 75 to be delivered from BB price match at $450. Only 60hz for that one but its fine for me.. I'll believe Im getting it when I get it. Sure enough, delayed again until July 1st. I need to find another tv deal , don't think this is the one though
I got on the Nano 75 deal a month ago. Good TV for the price. Not as bright and colorful as my 5 year old Samsung but it's third of the price and came with a free sound bar.

So true. Anyone who even leaves a comment on Slickdeals doesn't know what a good TV is. If you have maids as I'm do and im sure smpjcu has a couple as well this TV is too good for them. The kids will love it since they aren't very smart. As for the guest room well guest will be happy with anything. Oh time for horseback riding lessons.
This TV isn't good enough for the maids quarters. You would be laughed at hanging this in the guest house.

This TV does not have local dimming, correct? The Toshiba FireTV m550KU for $550 seems to be a better one.

I tried to see that tv in person. Nowhere to be found at best buy. And it's got some weird things about it. On paper the 550ku should be incredible. But there's little to be heard or found about it

Agree on this. I have the same tv and having it stick out more was a benefit for putting LED lights behind it.

Overall, I am happy with this TV as it fits my needs in cost and quality. I would have recommended this TV if one were purchasing it earlier this year (same time I purchased it). But there are some other great TV deals going around for a little bit more $$$ so it would be a tough decision and just up to preference to buy this or not.

Go for it if you're on the market. I have the 86" version, its amazing. The web OS and immediate start options are really great. Connect to your airpods, bluetooth ear phones and do a private hearing, default good speakers auto picture mode selection etc., you won't regret. For all its Costco, you can return in case without any questions asked. If someone says this is crap probably they got the bad ones.

So. For everyone calling this a crappy tv, any reason why? All anyone is saying is it's crappy, and that's it.. lol - is the picture crappy? Brightness low? Some details please!

If you wanna talk about comparing it to an OLED for QLED, then sure… I can see that. But for 4K and 120hz and for 500 (after shop card) this seems decent.

Unless you plan to use this for gaming, overall seems like a poorly rated TV.

I'm personally going to go with the Hisense U6GR. Doesn't have 120hz but overall a much better TV

Any comparisons between this and Sony x80j at 599 from walmart?

Here is the 75 incher thread in SD, and there is another one during the Memorial day sales, but you will have to find that thread yourself though.
