I'm sure you are trolling. I have this tv and it its great for the price. You do have to update the firmware day one. The picture was grainier than normal on YouTube until I updated it but the 4k content was gorgeous for an LED. To say it's crappy is very misleading. If you were expecting an oled or qled that cost much more thats on you.

I ordered this for the $500 price after the $100 Costco cash card. Will you really receive the $100 Costco cash card? There are some reviews saying they bought the tv and never got the gift card even after weeks of waiting ! I wouldn't pay $600 for this ! I think what I should do is if I don't receive the $100 Costco cash card after a month , I will just take the tv to a Costco location for return refund !

The Toshiba M550U is $500 at Amazon if you're a Prime Member. Consumer Reports says it has better picture quality than the LG.

I figured VRR would have been listed in the Spec Sheet PDF document under the gaming category. Since VRR is not listed and a similar model, the LG UN8500 does not have VRR according to Rtings, I would assume that the LG UN9000 does not have VRR.
