While J4125 is still quite capable, it's successor N5105 has been released, so there should be a bunch new NAS models with that soon.

There are few reviews on N5105 based mini PC / pfSense boxes, and they show decent improvement over J4125. I'd expect something similar for NAS.

I definitely agree, just getting tired of waiting, and this price is good.

The qnap TS-464 should be available soon. They might be clearancing these for the new model.

I got tired of waiting too, and so far the only N5105 NAS available is Terramaster, and their OS is somewhat suspicious and limited compared to QNAP or Synology. So I ordered this off eBay and a few days ago there was an additional $50 eBay discount, so I got it for $390+tax shipped. Not the greatest deal ever, but I needed to upgrade from a 7-year-old NAS that was basically unresponsive because of lack of memory.
