This model is definitely the lower end but still upgradable to the latest OS (11.0). It's fine for 1080p TVs and if the TV is close to the wireless router (it is only 802.11n, not ac, so max is roughly 45Mbps). The remote is also rather cheap (no on/off for TV, no volume control). You can still turn on the TV by hitting one of the streaming services buttons on the bottom of the remote like Hulu or Netflix. Workaround is to use the Roku remote Android app which even allows you to listen with headphones on you phone.

It may be worth spending the extra $20 to get the 4k+ available at Target. You get ac wireless, voice and volume control, and more quick buttons. It's handy having full control of your TV from the Roku remote when the couch eats your TV remote.
