I bought from here a year ago same price $1499, one thing about this TV is the homescreen is so laggy.

I've come from a 500$ Samsung and am disappointed tbh

Don't have this tv but my old Samsung is laggy and an Apple TV works wonders. Instant on

My OLED has burn in, so I have reservations on getting another. I mean, less than 3 years old and minimal gaming.

Which model, also post pics. I would say C9 and after very few of any cases if burn in.

If Bestbuy had an excellent condition 48 inch c1 for under 800 after tax, would you do it?

That's bum luck; I have the e9 as well as the c1 and both have performed beyond my expectations with no burn in. And I leave ps5 screens on constantly, plus the always on map, etc. or Netflix being left on forever all day and night running cocomelon loops

Easily. Make sure it has the stand though. Cause that throws a little of the savings out the window. It seems their five year warranty is back too, so I'd throw that on there too, just for peace of mind
