Looking at the reviews from VicH's comment I have to agree.. Tide Simply is NOT a good laundry detergent. Arm and Hammer is usually the same price or even cheaper and works much better. Persil is still the best that I've used.

IMO I avoid SImply Clean at all cost, its like they cut regular Tide in half with water. I just use regular Tide and add less detergent for lighter loads

Yea the Simply stuff is economy level detergent in a "Tide" container.

Its the Cadillac Cimarron of laundry detergents.

Purex with Clorox2, most All, and A&H with Oxi are all decent mid-range detergents.
Costco's Kirkland is a great lower price premium detergent.

The simply tide do not have those expensive ezmymes that breaks down bio molecules. Go with kirkland brand if you want a cheaper alternative to Regular tide. Simply tide works great if youre just washing laundry that do not have any sweats or "bio molecules" on them (linens, outter clothes like sweaters etc).

I have bought Tide Simply Clean and Fresh in yellow bottle once on sale. It was very diluted. A lot of liquid. I haven't bought it since then. This product is not up to Tide brand's name.

Tide simply is simply garbage, you have to use 2-3x as much as regular tide, not a deal

As others have mentioned, this version of Tide performs very poorly at cleaning clothes and it's also bottom ranked by Consumer Reports. If regular Tide / Persil are too expensive for you, CR rates the best budget detergent as Kirkland Signature's detergent
