With this form factor, soldered is usually standard. I wouldn't call it "crap" just because of that. It is DDR5.

Razer laptops have upgradable ram and comparable larger form factor laptops if the upgradable RAM is what you need. I don't think there are any 2 in 1 tablets that look like the Microsoft surface with upgradable RAM.

The 3050ti model from best buy is better because the GPU is a decent bit better, even at these low power limits. The CPU is better too (but highly limited by those power limits). Use the xg mobile and the potential of that i9 in the best buy model is unleashed. Picked up a 'satisfactory' condition one that was basically new for ~$1,430 pre tax. Better deal if you can find it
