I have this TV and use it in a dark room. The local dimming is horrible, I got it a month ago so I plan on returning and getting the OLED

That's the Nano75 not 85. Only 60hz screen.

More of the same. Waiting for retailers to start getting desperate. Unless you need a TV now, wait a little longer. Stores are actually overstocked on TVs, and everyone is starting to cut back on spending. If we all just wait a little longer, better deals will come over the summer. WSJ estimates that we'll start to see deeper discounts on stay-at-home stuff in July. Patience, everyone...

Why would anyone buy an LG TV that's not OLED? They really are a horrible value across the board.

For what it's worth, while perusing tvs at my local costco in the Boston area, I overheard employees in the tv section mention that they have pallets, and pallets of tvs to clear out from wherever they keep their stock.
