I think it depends on the model. In the past I know that each vacuum had a few different versions of the same vacuum: some saying pet or something else, and then there are also more versions for each of these because the same vacuum sold by Walmart would be a different color and include different attachments than the (same) vacuum sold at best buy with a slightly different model #.

In the long run you have to do the research to find the one you want. You could also buy a certain attachment from shark or ebay but it probably wouldn't be cheap.

I've purchased several different Shark vacuum models from Walmart YMMV deals but the last was maybe 3 years ago. Every model I've bought from them had the fabric attachment so I was a little saddened to see that they're nickel and dime-ing like other major vacuum brands are notorious for.

It's simple to empty the dustbin. I prefer dust cups over bags, because the dirt can be easily emptied every time you clean. Bagged vacuums always have that characteristic sour, musty vacuum smell.

In for 1. My old vacuum has been having issues and just this weekend died. I got the 3 year warranty for $12 from walmart, hopefully this one lasts. I have a two story and getting on those steps is a pain, this having a detachable pod should offset that, normally I just beast the vacuum sideways on the individual steps, this should save some brute force and my back.
