I've purchased the most ridiculous cat contraptions of all prices to play with my two girls over the years, and nothing, and I mean nothing gets them more excited than the Cat Dancer.

The cardboard tubes feel good to them to rub and chew on, but also the erratic motion it makes mimics prey. It wears them out, they love it, and makes them feel accomplished like they hunted for the day.

Highly highly recommend a couple of these for cat owners to encourage playtime at all ages.

This is literally just a length of wire with cardboard tubes on the ends. With that said, my cats love it. If you rig up a way to "mount" it in your house (I clipped the handle off the wire and drilled a small hole in our cat tower to put it in) it's even better.
