This one is a Razer's budget headset with minimal design. I would recommend this to people who doesn't like RGB lights or flash neon color design on their headset. But please note that this headset doesn't have a bluetooth connectivity option. It is all plug and play based. Also as Jaxidian mentioned previously, large USB C dongle easily can block out other ports on your laptop. Passive noise isolation is not as good as other headset (i.e. Hyperx cloud 2) but Sound coming from this headset is good and it wont cause fatigue with long gaming session. Hope this helps your purchasing decision. I think for $40, it is a good deal.

Good deal but be aware that the USB-C dongle is super large (wide). Look at the photos so you understand - it might not work for you. Nothing that can't be fixed with an $8 cable, but that might not be what some people would want to do if, for example, you planned on traveling with these with your laptop.

I actually like that design for traveling with my laptop. I'm sick of USB crap that sticks out from my laptop. That should stay very close. However...my laptop has no USB-C port. So, It's a no-go for me.
Edit***Hmm, but it says "USB-C dongle with USB-A extender" so maybe?

Hmm, this or Nari Essential for $5 more (Amazon and Best Buy)? Doesn't matter to me, I already have too many headsets.
It's kind of apples to oranges though. Stereo vs 7.1
And haha....7.1 with a headset is a joke to me anyway. But I'd like to hear thoughts.
I returned the Nari Essential within the same day it arrived. It was uncomfortable, sweaty and created pressure in my head making my ears feel like they needed to pop every few seconds. I wouldn't use it if it was FREE.

OK, I see where you are coming from because the Kraken headset I had was the same way. So I stored in on my PC, with one ear cup stretched to the other side. It loosened up and was fine after a few days.
