I don't qualify. These sort of deals are typically better with AmEx my rewards. I've been with AmEx for almost 10 years and subscribe to platinum. I'm still not eligible half the time

To be fair, most Slickdealers are used to jumping through odd hoops for discounts. Some can be quite rewarding! Others no so much.. Either way, I don't think Amazon has this promotion so that people will remove and re-add their cards. Lol

You don't have to use 3,000 points. You can use 1 point and pay the rest with the card and get the 15OFF. It's actually an awesome redemption, better than any airline redemption. 1 point for $15

Has that ever worked for you? I've tried this earlier but didn't seem to change the eligibility.

Btw, to do this, do you simply unenroll the UR Points (or MR Points) account or go all the way to remove the card itself from payment options before re-adding?

I tried using only 1 point and it only give me discounts on that 1 point … Is there any extra step?
