1. you authorize Chase to share all of your credit history and financial transaction info with Amazon and its affiliates.. and you authorize amazon to share all of the purchase and viewing history to Chase and its affiliates. You have no idea who these affiliates are and how they plan to consume your PII data. And no idea what kind of security systems they have in place to protect your PII data.
2. Also you get lower redemption value for your points on Amzn. 100 points = $1.25 towards Travel, but 100 points = 0.75 when redeemed on amazon.

The only workaround I see is to just use 125 points for $1.00, and don't use all your points. Only downside is you need to use the Chase credit card for the remaining.
