I would be VERY careful, the price of graphics cards is still very high, they are coming down. I have heard in the fall , mining will stop using graphics cards and switch to another method. And some YouTubers are saying massive flood of these graphics cards will be on ebay.
Maybe since you just got your very good i3-10th gen, test it out. Maybe get an extra 8gb of ram (30 dollars), because it will improve your gaming and help the userbenchmark score. You can play games with the INTEL 630, so test it out for a few weeks.
I guess you can get gf 1060 card , just be very careful you get the one recommended. Maybe other guys in thread can suggest something for you. I say WAIT. The rx-6400 would be still a good choice , I think I was saying in earlier post to watch YOUTUBE videos of people showing how the game works in pci-4th gen mode, and pci-3rd gen mode, and even pci-2nd gen mode. So if you get that card it is more future-proof if you get another pc down the road that is pci-4th gen (like the i5-11th gen). I did watch those videos and so should you, if you are interested in seeing actual gameplay of different games, and maybe watch videos of INTEL 630 in gameplay. At this point , have fun with your new PC.
P.S. to help clarify the difference it just putting 16gb ram in this device compared to just 8gb ram. Here is same i3-10th gen PC Userbenchtest with 8gb and 16gb. See sceen shots.

Found the fix for the audio fade/dropout problem, it involves hacking the registry so if you're not comfortable doing that, make a backup first or have someone else do it that is more comfortable with registry editing.
Note this is on a fresh Win10 install, if you have Win11 or still have the original install, this may or may not be the same solution.

now, this i3 or i5 uses the same crucial Ram stick, I have exactly the same ram in my i5 and my i3. It had 8 gig's in each pc, so you only need 1 8gb stick for 30 dollars.
crucial is better pro level ram, teamgroup is 2nd tier and maybe it will work, maybe it will not. Go with the sure thing.

I made that post under the assumption that 3200 MHz RAM was the fastest that would work.... but I happened to have a pair of 3600 MHz CL15 RAM from another box that I swapped over.... and it actually shows that it's running exactly as spec'ed (3 MHz faster, actually) -- 3603 MHz, CL15..... so THIS CL14 RAM from newegg would actually be the fastest RAM that would work -- https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-16...6820374232
CL14 RAM would perform processor heavy calculations in like 64% of the time as the same computer with CL22 RAM. As I was hoping to use this machine in a processor heavy, emulation machine.... the best RAM possible is worth it. Even if I was just using it to browse the web, it's still worth it to me, IMHO.
I canceled the Teamgroup RAM for now, because swapping the DDR4-3600, CL14 RAM didn't solve a seriously huge problem I'm having with emulation. I have an older machine (older processer, older chipset, slower memory, etc. that is able to emulate older gaming systems MUCH better than this Acer XC. I'm not sure what else the problem could be, but here's the comparison:
OLDER BOX: Intel Core i3-10100 cpu, HP 8768 mobo, Intel B460 (Comet Lake PCH-V) chipset, DDR4-2666 / PC4-21300 (15-15-15-35 timing) RAM, Intel UHD Graphics 630.
THIS Acer XC: Intel Core i3-10105, Acer Aspire XC-1660G mobo, Intel B560 (Rocket Lake-PCH-H) chipset, single channel DDR4-3200 / PC4-25600 (22-21-21-47 timing) RAM, Intel UHD Graphics 630
POST-RAM SWAP Acer XC: Same, except dual chanel DDR4-3603 / PC4-28800 (15-15-15-36 timings)
RESULTS: This newer Acer XC can't even emulate NES games properly, even after updating everything, including the "Acer Firmware" that Windows Update automatically found. I'm assuming there's SOMETHING, some *driver, SOMETHING that isn't configured properly.... but it doesn't make sense to me. I very well might send this Acer back...
EDIT: According to HWiNFO64, there is actually one more difference.... the older HP has one cpu instructionset enabled that this newer Acer doesn't have enabled -- AES-NI. Could that affect emulation to the point that the older machine can emulate Gamecube / Dreamcast games, but the newer machine not even emulate NES at a proper framerate??!?!? I don't think so, but I guess it was worth mentioning as the only other difference...

I was just sharing the ram that many of have installed and seemed to work. The sure thing. You could be more knowledgable then me, I don't know you.
I know there are threads on SD where members don't like the teamgroup stuff.
I love what you are doing with your emulation stuff, when you get the 6400 card tell us how is goes. I know I watched some youtube videos using the 6400 card in PCI 4th gen PC doing emulation stuff and they were amazed by it.
I just got a Xbox Series S a week or so ago, so my gaming needs are met, and I saw emulation stuff on the xbox too. I got game pass ultimate, so I am currently playing around with old xbox/360/one games, lots of them. So I will put the emulation on hold until I get bored with those xbox ultimate games.
