I can't remember when this wasn't the case. The Millenium Falcon set is over 20 years old. If you think legos are the $20 toys you see at Target or Walmart then you don't know anything about Legos.

I've ordered several sets, the Lambo, Bugatti, tree house, Disney castle, land Rover, ecto-1... All have been delivered by DHL and were pristine.

That being said, I've read dozens of horror stories on here.

Can you give an example? Also, do the sets come boxed in another box so the Lego packaging isn't damaged?

People saying the Lego packaging was destroyed/damaged (which really only matters if you're reselling I suppose). All of mine have been protected by an external package.

I'm glad they told us the $679 (on sale) Millennial Falcon was for adults. I was about to buy one for my 6 year old.

I've bought several from Zavvi - no issues. Had more issues w/ Amazon just throwing a Lego box in plastic bag...
That said, these sets are definitely international and have barely different boxes if that matters to anyone Smilie

I bought the Camp Nou stadium, among other sets from zavvi. They all arrived in a shipping box barely bigger than the Lego set. Despite the box not being super thick or heavily insulated, all 3 Lego sets arrived almost pristine. To be honest they arrived with less damage than sets shipped from Lego. These ship from the UK. I don't doubt that people received damaged sets from them as shipping large sets is difficult but I feel confident buying from them again.
