You have to see if you actually have a need for them! If so, then buy at this price.
I want to buy bc it's a good price...but I have 4 of them already for sugar, flour, rice, and brown sugar... not sure what else I really need them for.
But they are really good containers and have held up well for years! Easy to wipe clean too.

It's an amazon click coupon. I see it in my account too.
Exactly my experience. The container itself seems to be high quality, but the pop up button gets stuck easily. Returned it.
We have the V1 from costco, and one of ours dropped off the fridge and shattered. I emailed them about getting a just a replacement body(if it was cheap enough) and they sent me a whole new V2 container with lid free-shipped.
That said. I'm not a fan of the V2 lids, Sure they have the accessories option, but they don't come apart like V1 so washing it it's more annoying. Both versions seems to keep things from not getting too stale for a couple of weeks though.

First, the lids are definitely different. They are not interchangeable with the old ones. Shortly after I got these, I showed a friend them. Not knowing how they worked, he effortlessly pulled off the lid without "popping" it first, thinking that's how it was opened. The "airtight" seal was anything but. Note that he did this without any effort whatsoever, it's not like he aggressively pried it off. That never would have happened with the ones I bought originally.
The mechanism itself for opening and closing also feels clunkier. The old ones had an incredibly-smooth popping mechanism; all of the SoftWorks ones feel second-rate, like they went cheap on the buckling spring mechanism. It's louder, and just generally feels chintzy from a haptic standpoint. The button also feels like it sort of rocks back and forth horizontally, much more than the original ones I had.
So often in retail we see a company build an amazing product. Then, once they get their foothold on the market and gain a reputation and following, they bait and switch consumers by bastardizing the component quality to cut down on manufacturing costs. That is exactly what has happened here. I love Oxo products, but these are not close to what they used to be.
I don't know if I'd say to avoid them completely, but I wouldn't hold my breath on getting an airtight seal.
edit: its funny that your hard plastic boxes as sticking together

I opened a bag of chips and put half in the oxo, half left in the bag. After eating from both the oxo and bag over a few weeks, the chips became stale in the oxo container while the bagged chips were still crispy. I no longer use the oxo containers.
and yes I was using the burp seal on the oxo to keep it airtight.
