For 30 bucks its hard to complain.. 2x2 + 2x2 Mediatek platform.

It's not going to perform like a 4x4 radio (with actual dedicated antennas) but its a decent "upgrade" to low power wave 1 AC devices.

Wont hold a candle to higher end 4x4 Wave 2 AC/AX Routers (but you're also paying at least 3x the price minimum).

Max power output on this is around 800mA with internal antennas. A lot of modern devices push the full 1w limit (with external antennas) on unii 1 + 3.

Edit: At least you're not paying 150+ USD for an "AX3000" 2x2 160mhz radio like the last few years. Biggest scam in wifi.

I have a TP Link Archer C9 AC1900, 7 years old. Would this be a significant upgrade? Not a gamer.

For some reason the price of $30 is displayed only by clicking on the provided link. If the link is copied, the price is $77.95.
