Right, I could see the slight confusion as some pens do have brass bodies. These are the AL - which stands for Aluminum. So, typically they are coated/painted to give prettier colors.
I suppose there are, but I got the deal last time for the macaron color Safari - they were genuine.
The website is a legitimate seller for Lamy from the last deal and didn't seem to be a scam. The inks were real too.
The thread you linked has further discussion, but to those who only read the top post - many of his concerns don't indicate a fake. The two main ones are blue in the nib/feed - Lamy tests all their pens with their blue ink at the factory. The Goulet youtube channel has a video on a factory tour and if I recall, it shows the machine testing each pen. So, they do have ink residue but aren't used pens. Also, the scratches on the nib... seems to be a Lamy thing from owning a few Al Stars and Safaris. I even bought loose nibs in the day and they all have surfrace scratches to some degree. I've never seen any other steel nib like that, but hey, at least Lamy makes their own nibs.

Here is a quick read about fake Lamy concerns: https://www.fountainpen
Honestly it's a cheap starter fountain pen that typically sells at very reasonable prices. I don't suspect this to be fake, but as always take things with a grain of salt.
