While I agree: Argentinian beef from a parillada vs a white oak smoked brisket are two different cuisines all together.

You're eating 12oz in 1 sitting? Since steak has more water content would that equal like 30 or 40 oz of steak? Not that it doesn't sound like my kinda party though...
Maybe i had a bad batch but they were pretty salty in a gross way compared to other beef jerkys.
