I probably SHOULD (finance wise) use 14/2, but I always wind up using 12/2 in case I need to go to 20 amps. Kinda silly, I know, but it's a lot easier to swap out receptacles and fuses compared to replacing wiring.

There is nearly five times more copper in the typical home than in a fully electric car.

good price, will stick it in a garden hose and pretend it's audiophile speaker cable.

Copper, lumber, etc... is already down 20%+ in the last month. Expected to drop more in the next year.

Palladium is down about 40% this year.
.
This administration just doubled the tariffs on soft woods, copper is still double [kitconet.com] what it was 2 years ago, home mortgage rates have doubled, etc.

I paid $56 for 50ft at HD and that was the cheapest one they had! I bought two of these in store and the manager had to approve the price reduction. This is a great deal.

I wonder if we are going to see price drops in copper coming, with the housing market heading for a crash. A nice price though!
Copper spot price is down to 3.80s from mid 4s.

Why are you adding/replacing any wiring in your house if you still have fuses?

Love to see some 12/2 romex sim pull deals. I just had to use some 12/2 UF for a mini split I put in and it's such a PITA.
Mini splits suck, AC dude here.

Pricing coming down? Not for the next five years, and that's if we're lucky.

Check out how much copper is used in electric cars. Wondering how many houses could be built with the amount of wire in one electric car?
The amount of copper in an electric car, or any car for that matter, is only a small fraction ofthat in a typical house.

The cost spiral is for lithium, cobalt, and nickel . All major components of an electric car.

you don't live in a 5K square foot home
I don't know why a 5k sq ft house is the contention point. My house growing up was 5100, 4 bed / 5.5 bath and was on the smaller side for my area... current house is smaller at 2200, but was shopping recently in the 5-6k foot range (though I'm being lobbied quite hard to buy 'nicer' the 3-4k range)...

Anyway, wiring isn't the only place copper appears in homes. It is a major component of AC systems as well as piping...

This sounds like a comment from a Dave Ramsey fan. What a blow hard
