I own this, a dyson D7 and the shark duo. Of all 3, the shark duo is our favorite, then Dyson, then this Hart one. The roller doesn't seize up on me at all and I have a dog and some females in the house who love leaving brushed hair everywhere.

This hart one is a good vacuum for $99, I believe we paid about $60 for it a few months back. At $60 it's perfect for our upstairs and loft, so I'd say $99 is just as good of a price. This ran $129-$149 retail even though Walmart claimed it was $199 at the time. If you're looking for a stick vacuum and can't pay up for a more powerful one, then this will do the trick. However I'd recommend it more as a backup or 2nd vacuum in the household…. Just my opinion.

Also, I'd wait for the brushless to drop to $99 and buy that ones instead.

Looks like the wall mount can charge the battery if you remove it from the vacuum first. Anyone have this vs the Ryobi stick vac? Does the roller seize up as easily/frequently?

I've been watching Hart prices and this is a standard price. It was 95 actually a few days ago as well.

With a battery? That listing is from an unknown 3rd party seller. I have had this in my cart for a while and never saw it this low.

Yeah. The brushless one was briefly 120 recently as well. I don't own one, but the reviews are good and prices seem good. They've been this price for atleast a few weeks if not longer.

Dewalt just came out with the DCV501HB stick vacuum but unfortunately it doesn't have a roller brush.

Is this the one you are talking about (brushless [walmart.com])?

4Ah battery is whimpy for a vacuum. I recommend budgeting for 1-2 extra batteries, so that you can rotate them and can actually finish the job before running out of power.

Alternatively, AC powered stick vacuums sell for 1/3 the price and never run out of power.
What are you vacuuming that requires 2 extra 4ah batteries? A farking mansion?

Damn, what are you vacuuming that takes so long?

I typically use my similar Dyson (with a much smaller battery) for less than a minute at a time to quickly clean up little messes - or maybe five minutes if I'm going to do a whole room and don't feel like getting out the big vac.

I'd think a 4ah battery would be plenty for what these little vacs are designed for.

Which model shark duo do you have? I only see duoclean and there are many.

This is clever!
"The HART 20V battery system allows you to interchange the same battery between all 20V HART products. It powers all HART 20V tools, outdoor equipment, automotive, and lifestyle items".
Given this, one could vacuum for hours, depending on how many Hart tools one has?

The brushless at this price would be cool.
