  • About this deal:
    • This price is $150 lower (39% savings) than the list price.
    • See the forum thread for additional discussion of this deal and monitor.
  • About this product:
    • IGZO panel technology uses semiconductors made of Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide, rather than the more common Amorphous Silicon (a‑Si) found in ordinary panels. IGZO semiconductors are significantly more energy efficient and respond much faster than a‑Si semiconductors, resulting in lower power consumption, less heat, more accurate and vibrant colors, and faster response times.

I think they used IGZO in the wrong sense. IGZO is not a type of panel but rather a type of transistor in the panel which can be used in TN, VA, IPS, and OLED.

I'm still unfamiliar with IGZO and I was under the impression it was something extremely energy efficient but costly.

Here is something I pulled from google.

Edit:
Confirmed from my manual they are 165 native, 180 OC. The "Features" on pge 5 call out 2560x1440p@165Hz, but on the spec table on pg 17 has a sticker over top indicating 165Hz(180Hz).

I have 2 of these, bought a month ago. One of the 8 reviews is mine the one from June 7.

The USB 15W PD is nice, use one to charge my phone other to charge headset. Can also use USB C as display input.

My main complaint is the OSD control button positioning and can't seem to activate OSD when asleep/no source input.

Edit:
Also the specs didn't seem clear about the 3.5mm audio port. It's a line out. Haven't tried it, but you can select auto source to the active display input or specify the input.

Edit: more info
Can't comment on HDR or 180Hz visually. Don't think my old radeon R9 270 supports those. Built new PC month or so ago but holding out for fall releases from Nvidia/AMD for a new card.

I have it and personally love it! I'm by no means an expert, but I would say it's easily worth it at that price

Thanks! Are you getting 180hz, wondering if it's native or oc.

Scrolling down on the product page, it says maximum resolution is 1920x1080p and the panel type is IPS. Can anyone confirm what the max resolution is and if this is indeed an IPS panel?

If you're looking at the table you need to scroll right and find the correct product number, it says all the details you'll need.

From what I found on this product ID 42892, it is an IPS panel with IGZO technology at 2560x1440p. Seems like a very good price from my initial research. 180hz is achieved by overclocking and adaptive sync is not available above 160hz.

Anyone know if this will support 120hz at 1440p on xbox series consoles?

One of the reviews says they like this monitor more than the Dell 34" OLED… I find that hard to believe

8 reviews troubles me as I've seen some not so stellar reviews of Monoprice monitors before. I've been looking to go dual screen 27" for work for some time and was hoping for $200 a piece so might pass.
