I weighed some of mine on a bathroom scale and they were pretty much spot on. Three 45s each showed 45.0 on the scale and two 25s showed 24.9. Close enough for me and better than I expected.
Not for bumper

I have 4 of the 45 lb plates, a pair of 25's and 4 of the tens. While I don't ever drop them because I don't like practicing to injure myself by doing things like cleans, they are great for deadlifts.

Can you speak to the variance on these? Have you weighed them to see how close they are to their actuals versus labeled?
Man tempted just cause I know it's a good price. I don't do deadlifts often and if I do I just use my 35lb bumper set along with iron ones for addition weight

Good deal. $1.50/pound delivered for bumpers is legit. You can basically build the set you want for that same rate so if you don't need that much or only need certain plates, you can make it work.
I got a pair of the 45s a few months back for the same price. I like the black ones more than color coded (more expensive). Very little bounce. Good for small spaces.
How do these plates compare to the Costco Inspire Fitness deal for $350 - other than the extra bar which is useless for most folks anyways. For $40 less and buying from Costco - isn't that a better deal? Of course you lose the 15s and gain the 5s. And no time travel is needed - Costco will have that set for the same price in a few months again.

Depends on type of weight lifting. If you are an Olympic style lifter then you need the Walmart ones. Any other type of weight lifting the Costco ones are fine. I have the Costco ones and they are super high quality especially for the price. And the bar is very high quality. For me the Costco deal was a no brainer.
PS One thing about the Costco weights is they stink bad at first. I had to leave them outside covered by a tarp for a month to not stink up my house. the smell was too strong for even my garage.
