I'm sure they will once you return from MEPS after you are sworn in.
I asked what about the trade-in if I returned their iPad Air 5, and she said that value would be credited to my Apple account.
P.S. Another way to take advantage of these offers is to date someone who has military exchange privileges. My GF, in this case.
Not sure why this post got 2 thumbs down. In my view, the relevant information is:
1. That you may be able to return a recent purchase.
2. That you may receive a trade-in that's not bad. In my view, $155 for a old iPad Pro 9.7 (1st Gen, I think) with a bad battery is pretty good.
3. That Apple may actually price match, but only up to 10%. They did offer to price match this deal.
4. That if you trade in a device and unwind the deal, the value of that trade-in will still be returned to you (in my case, to my Apple card).
5. Friends/family with exchange rights may be able to purchase these deals on your behalf.
So good info, in my view. But feel free to give it a thumbs down.
