Wow great deal! This must be a price mistake because shipped and sold by Amazon is 19.99 and Home Depot is $21. These have always been my favorite masks, I just wear a surgical mask over it to cover the valve.

Lowes sells a 15 pack for $19... the deal here is way better. These are great for working in the yard or attic. The rubber bands they use kind of suck though. I have some other 3M masks and they are much more robust.

I would take a screenshot of your checkout saying it's the 10 masks cause I'm betting the listing is actually supposed to be for a single mask. Wouldn't surprise me if that's what shows up.

That comment is not making any sense to me. If doing wood or yard work, the surgical mask is not needed. If wearing these for COVID reasons, then just the surgical mask is needed.
Can you elaborate as to why you believe you need both?
The valve isn't filtering your air out to those around you. He's being thoughtful.

While I agree it always makes sense to take a screenshot, the model number down below on the page also confirms that it is a box of 10. That's why I feel this is a price mistake.

In order to give yourself the greatest protection possible (N95), the breathability of surgical mask, and protecting others against possible spread.

It is recommended that if you wear these masks with a valve for Covid purposes, that you also wear a surgical mask over it so that when you exhale you are helping to protect others from your own respiratory droplets.
I understand that some people use these for yardwork and around the house, in these cases a surgical mask is not necessary.

Not the OP, but surgical masks don't seal as well as N95 masks, they are great for source control but not for incoming protection. Also, believe it or not, I've found that a 4-layer ASTM Level 3 surgical mask is less breathable than a N95 mask. They both have the melt-blown layers but they have different performance. BTW, regulated N95s also shed less fibers than a random surgical mask according to a study.

I saw $7 for 10-pack on Amazon for this type of mask
