I grew up with MegaMan and picked up most of these already. I love MegaMan X, particularly the first collection and the OG collections allowed me to finally beat some I never had before. That said, I had never played the Zero/ZX games before and they were worth it.

This is not correct, X4-X6 are good, X5 is the best of those.

I've been itching to replay some Mega Man games and was going to wait until they were on sale again in the PS store, but this is cheaper than I've ever seen it there. How do these games play on switch compared to PlayStation? Any real difference performance wise?

No difference at all. Plus side with getting it on the switch is you can play it anywhere.

Same here, I grew up on Nintendo and never got into any mega man games. I do have the old games on emulator on rpi3 and nes/ snes mini consoles if I ever have the urge to try them eventually
