I don't get the demand for ps5 series is is superior imo
I'm an Xbox fan through and through but at this point in time, they're both amazing consoles. And with cross play being adopted finally, we're getting to the point where it doesn't matter that much. I'm just glad that stock is finally becoming more prevalent.
That being said...I do much prefer the Xbox controller over playstation.

No one even needs an Xbox anymore. Xbox is moving towards just being a Game Pass streaming app. The end is finally near.
I've got an S and an X and I've streamed games to an iPad. They've done a lot of work to fix the lag over streaming, but it's not quite there. I don't notice that much difference between the S and X graphically though.
Ordered mine from Costco for the return policy just in case. I bought the Elite Series 2 Controller from Costco, got controller drift and with the click of a button I had a new one in 2 days. Love Costco!

these
consoles are very old now I bought my video card for my computer sooner than this and I'm about to replace it with one twice as much power
The Series X has been out a year and a half, not even close to "very old" by console standards. The Xbox One in its various versions was around for what, 8 years? 3 between the One X and the Series X? And the 360 before that for nearly a decade IIRC. The PS4 was around about the same length of time.
The real question is what do you have to pay for a PC to match or definitively beat a Series X? Just the video card alone is probably twice as expensive, never mind the rest of the machine. I say "probably" because I stopped paying attention last year and honestly don't know what it would cost, but seems like the number I heard most was $3000, plus or minus.

If you want a 4K Blu Ray player and double storage and more graphics power, then this is the way to go.
