I bought one and found out the hard way. These do not work on the PS5, and likely PS4. And no, I don't mean you can't play PS5 games from the HDD, everyone knows that. These drives flat out do not work when connecting to a PS5 due to the internal USB Hub/controller. Figure after a suck and hooking up to a different USB controller board it should work fine. That sucks to have to spend that extra $$ though.

Works perfectly for Xbox Series X though.
