If it works like others have in the past, it would be for whatever food and beverage items you have in your order once you've activated it - not just one item. And it should theoretically stack with other Circle offers.

If you want to save it for a larger order, you can always un-save the offer and then turn it on again when you're ready to use it. I haven't turned mine on yet so I don't accidentally use it on something small.
