the townies are supposed to be super ergonomic. While the basic cruisers are basically the Cadillacs of cruisers. Then there's the fashion cruisers for women which have themes. They discontinued a lot of the Men's Attitude frames which are still highly sought after. Same thing with the tank bikes like the Flying Sue, Tigershark and Indy. Then you have the Extremely rare Double Diamond and Zarape which in good condition could fetch upwards of $2500.

I was planning to buy Electra but was advised against it by bicycle enthusiasts I know. They strongly preferred the Brilliant bikes (via Costco) as a budget pick. My research online confirmed this. YMMV.

I like mine. Get the gears (7D) though. Tee one speed is just a little cheaper, but you will like having 7 gears to adjust to your terrain.
