Most online watch sellers aren't authorized dealers (some are). Resellers take the stock authorized sellers can't move at cost. They're genuine and will almost always have serial #'s.
If you're really concerned about manufacturers warranty you must buy from authorized sellers. Manufacturers make a big deal about only buying from authorized sellers but it's all a big wink and a nod thing. A store is allotted 75 watches and expected to sell 75. When it looks like they're only going to move 50, 25 are sold to the resellers and everyone is happy.
