I have both the Omen mouse pad and the Corsair mouse pad. I prefer the Corsair one for a bit more - very nice edging, quality of fabric, and overall surface.

Would you say that the Corsair one will be better for sweaty hands compared to the Omen, or are they pretty much the same as far as water resistance goes?

The Omen one will absorb stuff. The Corsair will not absorb - you just mop it up. Plus, Corsair one is far smoother. I now have several Corsair one - plus the Corsair color hides stains better while Omen is black - stuff just shows up on black surface...

They're both solid cloth mousepads as far as construction quality goes. As far as the surface is concerned though, that can be a bit more subjective, depending on the type of mouse you have, it's weight, and what kind of force you apply to your mouse when gaming. There's a sweet spot where your mouse glides smoothly and effortlessly, while tracking is accurately recorded by the mouse, but isn't so slick that releasing or changing your grip a little, or lifting off to reset position is going to throw off your cursor a bit more.
As far as the sweat is concerned, are you more concerned with whether water could affect the tracking of the mouse, or whether it could result in staining/wear over time? A material that absorbs a little sweat better could potentially stain some over time, but it it's really water-resistant and you're talking enough sweat to pool a bit on the pad, that could mess with the tracking of your mouse more if not mopped. The differences are all generally pretty small as long as it's a pad of solid construction and similar material, generally cloth, and I've never heard concern specifically about the sweat absorption of a pad, but hey, when you're seriously into your gaming every little thing counts!
